Today we're going to take a look at the CURT custom 5th wheel bracket kit. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2005 to 2010 Ford F250 and F350 trucks, and also the 2008 to 2010 Ford F450 trucks. And it does fit both long and short bed models of those trucks.Now because it's a custom fit part I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show you if this will work for your application.Now these mounting brackets are designed to mount beneath your truck bed. They provide these attachment points for your 5th wheel base rails to attach to. Now the base rails we do sell separately on our website.
They do require the CURT base rails which are part number C16104 or C16204. And again, we sell those separately on our website.This will provide a custom fit because they mount to existing holes that are in your vehicle's frame. So it minimizes the amount of drilling that's required, and it will cut the installation time in half when compared with universal bracket kits.This part will include everything shown here on the table. The two custom mounting brackets, all the installation hardware, and a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how everything's installed. This will work with the CURT, the Draw-Tite, the Hidden Hitch, Reese and Husky 5th wheel hitches.
And these parts are made in the USA.But that should do it for the review on the CURT custom 5th wheel bracket kit.
